The song of the hedge sparrow is one of the favourite memories of Rogier van der Zwaan, in the peaceful first weeks in lockdown in 2020. Curious for similar memories, he interviewed 22 of his ING colleagues around the world, going (virtually) from Manila to Sao Paolo and from Jakarta to New York. He collected the stories in this booklet, of which we made the design. Rogier writes: “...these memories stick with us for a reason. They tell us something about life. But you have to listen closely.
