A serious card game for starting a partnership
How to start talks with various parties when innovations are the subject matter? Which discussion points should be on the table? How to have a conversation that is fair for both prospective partners, as a basis for a successful collaboration? HEINEKEN Global Innovation & Research asked us to streamline and support this process.
We structured a five-step process. We defined the discussion points which, in tangible form, can be put on the table, to support an open conversation.
The deck of discussion cards forms the basis of the tool. The cards structure the conversations and include a checklist on the back. They match the exact size of beer coasters.
In a digital format, the cards are used to prepare talks.
A selection of the cards is brought to the table.
For each phase, a pre-formatted presentation is used for the conversation outcomes. This efficiently creates a progress report and introduces the next phase.
